With its new 'Dynamic Shield' face, the 2019 Mitsubishi L200/Triton may not be pretty, but it's a much cohesive and compelling design than the not-sporty-but-also-not-tough look of its predecessor.

The facelift has a new squarer bonnet and front guards. A thin set of LED driving lights are integrated into the grille, while the main headlight units are disguised and situated further down the bumper.

Although the petrol and diesel engines are unchanged, as is the 6-speed manual, the pickup now features a 6-speed automatic instead of the old car's 5-speed unit.
