OK, it’s not Chris Bangle radical, but the BMW X2 Concept might mean an end to the BMW sausage factory churning out the same thing but in different sizes.
There’s an upside double kidney grille, smooth surfaces, soft details, silver plastic, and a BMW badge on the D pillar (whoa!!). It’s pretty radical for a BMW, even a product foreshadowing concept car.
Maybe the production X2 will just be another cookie cutter BMW, with a sloping roof grafted on to the FWD/AWD BMW X1, but the Concept X2 gives us a look at a possible future where not every BMW looks the same. Pray for it to become a reality.
