Every car now has a launch special, and the 2019 BMW M850i xDrive First Edition is that for the new 8-Series coupe with just 400 to be sold worldwide.
The exterior is painted in Frozen Barcelona Blue metallic, which is exclusive to the First Edition. High gloss black has been used for the side window trim, grille, air vents, and exhaust tips.
There’s also 20″ wheels in jet black, carbonfiber roof, and a carbonfiber trim package.
Inside there’s Merino leather in Ivory White and Night Blue, blue Alcantara roof liner, piano black trim, B&W Diamond surround sound system, and glass trim for the start/stop button, iDrive controller, volumne knob and gear shift lever.
The Visibility, Technology and Premium packages are fitted as standard. The powertrain is unchanged with a 395kW (550hp) 4.4L twin-turbo V8, AWD, and an 8-speed auto.
Just 10 will be sold in the UK from June 2019, with pricing starting from £121,995 (US$158,100) on the road.
