2017 Dodge Viper is sold out, production ends forever on August 31

If you want to own a Dodge Viper and learn what it’s like to live with V10 RWD machine, you’ll have to buy one second hand.

Ralph Gilles, head of design for Fiat Chrysler, told Motor Trend that the 2017 Dodge Viper is sold out. And with production of the car ending forever on August 31, 2017, your car to own a brand new Viper is gone forever.

The company experienced a surge in interest and orders after it announced production would end forever this year, but not enough for it keep developing the car or to keep the Connor Avenue plant open.

Sorry, snake fans.
