1970 BMW Garmisch concept recreated, still looks modern and refreshing

BMW has faithfully recreated Garsmisch concept for the 2020 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, and it still looks as stunning today as it did back in 1970.

The original concept was by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, and disappeared after debuting at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show.

The recreation took several months to make, and includes both the exterior and the interior, with its unique vertical radio configuration.

And that grille! It looks like it could fit on a modern BMW too.
