Toyota Tundra TRD Pro goes off-road with a dash of old school

The TRD Pro pack for the Toyota Tundra combines extra off-road ability with more masculine and slightly old school styling.

The TRD Pro package for the Tundra pickup includes blacked out 18-inch alloy wheels clad with Michelin off-road tyres. There’s also Bilstein high performance shocks that provide an extra 1.4 inches (35.6mm) of wheel dtravel at the front and an extra 1.5 inches (38.1mm) at the rear. New TRD front prints give the car a 2-inch (50.8mm) lift.

There’s also a TRD dual exhaust, front skid plate, old school front grille with prominent Toyota lettering, a new shift knob, red seat stitching and enough TRD badging to make your eyes bleed.

The TRD Pro is only available in black, white and inferno (pictured). The sole drivetrain choice is the 381hp (284kW) 5.7-litre V8 mated to a 6-speed auto and four-wheel drive.

Pricing begins at US$41,285 for the double cab and ends at US$43,900 for the CrewMax.
