During its life, the SRX was the largest car-based SUV in the Cadillac range. Launched in 2004 on a RWD/AWD platform with V6 and V8 engines.
The second generation model, debuting in 2009, switched to a FWD/AWD platform and was twinned with the short-lived Saab 9-4X. Motivation come solely from V6 engines.
