Ford Mustang: RHD UK pricing starts from £29k

Ford of Europe has announced pricing for the new Mustang coupe and convertible, with the range kicking off in the UK at £29,995.

The new Ford Mustang is available to order now throughout the UK and Europe, although deliveries won’t start entering showrooms until around the middle of the year. The new Mustang is also the first in 50 years to be officially sold in the UK in right-hand drive.

In the UK, the Mustang range kicks off at £28,995 for the 230kW (314PS) 2.3-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder coupe, which comes standard with a 6-speed manual. The convertible bears a £4,000 premium over the coupe, while a 6-speed automatic adds £1,500 to the price.

If you want the 307kW (418PS) 5-litre V8 equipped with a 6-speed manual, prices begin at £32,995 for the coupe. Again prices jump by £1,500 for the automatic transmission, while the convertible adds £4,000 to the asking price.

All UK-bound Mustangs are fitted with 19-inch alloy wheels, performance brakes, xenon headlights, LED tail-lights, rear diffused, dual-zone climate control, 9-speaker sound system and Sync 2 headunit as standard.

Options include different alloy wheels and heated/cooled seats.
