2019 Ram ProMaster: Big bold pickup truck grille, more body options

The 2019 Ram ProMaster facelift gains the bold grille with RAM lettering first seen on the full size pickup truck, and a host of new options and upgrades.

There’s also new black bumpers, side panels, and optional black steel wheels. Side rear windows with steel grates are now optional low roof models, and polycarbonate side windows are available on high roof vans.

The 2019 RamPromaster comes standard with a 280hp (209kW) 3.6L V6, FWD, and a 6-speed auto.

Towing capability has been improved 30% up to a maximum of 6,800 lb (3,084kg), and a Class IV receiver hitch with four- and seven-pin wiring harness is now available.

Payload has been improved with increases of up to 240 lb (109kg):

  • 1500 – 4,000 lb (1,814kg)
  • 2500 – 4,230 lb (1,919kg)
  • 3500 – 4,680 lb (2,123kg)

There’s also three new body configurations available with 136″ (3,454mm) wheelbase: the 2500 Cargo Van low roof, 3500 Cargo Van low roof, and 3500 Cargo Van high roof.
