2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350: No facelift, goes for track times instead

The 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 misses out on the facelift that’s available on the rest of the range. The focus instead is on track times and handling.

Seeing how the internet hates the 2019 Mustang facelift, the Shelby GT350 seems like the one to get.

The Shelby GT350 has new 19-inch wheels with specially developed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 295/35 at the front, and 305/35 at the rear.

Other changes include a new rear spoiler, optional Gurney flap, revised MagneRide active suspension, and retuned Brembo brakes (six-piston front and four-piston rear). New colors are Velocity Blue and Ford Performance Blue.

Under the hood the GT350 has an exclusive high revving 5.2-liter V8 with a 8,250rpm redline, 526hp (392kW), 429 lb-ft (582Nm), and a 6-speed Tremec manual.

The 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is available from early 2019, and all cars include a free Track Attack driving program.
