2019 Cadillac XT3: SUV to debut in 2018 to take on X3, GLC, Q5

Cadillac will launch a new SUV that will sit below the XT5 in mid 2018, and it will take on the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and Audi Q5.

Cadillac boss Johan de Nysschen has told The Detroit News that Cadillac will add new a crossover to sit below the XT5 (pictured above) in mid 2018.

The new crossover, probably badged XT3, is part of his plan to recalibrate the Cadillac range, which four sedans, one coupe, one crossover, and one truck based SUV.

Cadillac also plans to introduce a new crossover to sit between the XT5 and the Escalade.

With the market overwhelming shifting to crossovers and SUVs, Cadillac is lagging far behind its luxury competitors.
