2019 BMW 8-Series starts from $112,895 in US, on sale December

The 2019 BMW 8-Series goes on sale in the US from December 8, 2018, and will be available initially only as the M850i xDrive.

The price starts at US$112,895, including destination, and standard features include LaserLight headlamps, Merino leather, a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, iDrive, a 12.3″ instrumentation screen, and 10.25″ infotainment display with navigation.

The M850i xDrive is powered by a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 with 523hp and 553 lb-ft, automatic transmission, AWD, electronic rear differential, adaptive suspension, active roll stabilization, sport brakes, and a 3.6s 0-60mph time.

Options include a 1,400W Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, a carbonfiber roof, carbonfiber exterior trim (including bumper inlays, rear diffuser blades, mirror caps, and rear spoiler), and glass controls for the gear shifter, iDrive controller, stop/start button and audio volume knob.
