2017 Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X proves its toughness with Project Basecamp

The 2017 Nissan Titan XD really wants to show how tough it is, and the Project Basecamp concept attempts to do just that.

The Project Basecamp has the Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X’s 5-liter Cummins V8 turbo diesel with 310hp and 555 lb-ft.

Modifications include a 3-inch lift kit, and the suspension has air springs and an air-leveling compressor. The Project Basecamp Titan has 35×12.50×17 offroad tires with 17-inch beadlock aluminum-alloy wheels.

There’s also custom made front and rear bumpers, fender flares, a new hood, LED light bar and chase lights, and a quick connect winch system.

Other changes include a Leitner Designs Overland bed cage, Rhino Rack Pioneer rack system, Foxwing Awning, a fridge freezer, and a Stargazer tent.
