2017 Nissan Pathfinder: Starts at $30k, new styling, more power

Nissan has announced pricing for the 2017 model year Nissan Pathfinder, with the facelifted SUV featuring a new front end design.


There’s also an updated set of taillamps, and upgrades for the interior, and a new hands-free motion activated tailgate. Towing capacity has been upgraded by 1,000 lb (454kg) to 6,000 lb (2,722kg).

New safety tech for the Pathfinder includes adaptive cruise control, surround view cameras with moving object detection, and forward emergency braking.

Under the hood there’s an updated 3.5-liter V6 which now makes 284hp (212kW), up from the old model’s 260hp (194kW).

Upgrading from FWD to AWD adds US$1,690 to the price of all models in the 2017 Pathfinder range.
