2017 Citroen C6: Bland second-gen model won’t disappoint France

Well, if you love cars and Citroens, the new C6 is a disappointment, but at least it won’t be going on sale in France, Europe or anywhere else not named China.

The new C6 was co-developed by Citroen and Dongfeng, PSA Peugeot-Citroen’s partner in China. The second generation C6 has a traditional three box sedan shape, with the only unusual design element being the way the headlamps and grille integrate.

The exterior of the new C6 (above) is a big step back from the original C6 (below), which was big, brash and very French with outsized design elements, thin headlamps and taillamps, and concave rear windscreen.

Thankfully the interior of the new C6 looks luxurious and modern, and will no doubt be comfortable and have the latest technology. Hopefully the new C6 has the comfortable ride of old time French sedans.
