The big change to the RS3 Sportback is under the hood, as the hatch now uses the 2.5-liter turbocharged 5-cylinder from the RS3 sedan, and that has 294kW (400hp) and 480Nm (354 lb-ft). That's 25kW (33hp) more than before in an engine that's 26kg (57 lb) lighter becayse of an aluminum crankcase.
