Look out Porsche Boxster, the Alpine A110 has French style, a mid-engine layout, a light bonded aluminum platform and body, and an excellent interior.
The Alpine A110 has mid mounted 1.8-liter turbo gas engine with 188kW (252hp) at 6,000rpm, and 320Nm (236 lb-ft). The RWD A110 has a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and has unladed DIN weight of 1,103kg (2,432 lb).
It has a 0 to 100km/h time of 4.5s, a top speed of 250km/h (155mph). The suspension is double wishbone front and back, and there are 18-inch wheels with 205/40 tires at the front, and 235/40 at the rear.
The Alpine A110 goes on sale from late 2017 in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland. The price in France is €58,500 (US$62,550) including VAT.
Sales of RHD models in Japan and the UK start in 2018.
