2016 Citroen SpaceTourer details, based on C4 Picasso

Based on the modular EMP2 platform and closely related to the Citroen C4 Picasso, the new Citroen SpaceTourer people mover is based on the company’s latest midsize van.


The SpaceTourer, and the Peugeot Traveller and Toyota ProAce, will be available in three sizes:

XS — 4.6m (181 inch) length, short wheelbase, short rear overhang, 1,978L (70 cu-ft) boot volume.
M — 4.95m (195 inch) length, long wheelbase, short rear overhang, 2,381L (84 cu-ft) boot volume.
XL — 5.3m (209 inch) length, long wheelbase, long rear overhang, 2,932L (104 cu-ft) boot volume.

Three rows of seating are available for a maximum capacity of 9 passengers. In the UK there are two trim levels: Feel and the upmarket Business, which can be made to order.

Features include hands-free door operation, opening rear windows, electric sliding doors, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, head-up display, automatic high beam, 180-degree parking camera, sat nav, lane departure warning, road sign recognition, active cruise control, and collision alert.

All SpaceTourer models will be powered by PSA Peugeot Citroen’s latest BlueHDI turbo-idesel engines in 95PS, 115PS, 150PS and 180PS trim.
