2014 Ford Territory facelift: mild refresh simplifies final Australian SUV

The Ford Territory will receive a final visual and equipment tweak this year before it’s ushered off to great scrapyard in the sky, and this is it.

Well, at least, the front of it. There are no sheet metal changes to the Territory, with all the modifications belonging to the front bumper.

There’s a simplified upper grille (with just one bar instead of two) and a squared off lower grille. The changes are finished off with new detailing, especially around the fog lights.

Ford Australia has yet to reveal the look of the revised Territory’s rear, but expectations are that changes there will be minor in nature.

As now, the update Territory with be powered by either a 4-litre straight-six petrol motor or a 2.7-litre turbo-diesel V6.

The revised Territory will go on sale later this year, and this update should see the car through to the end of production in latter part of 2016.
